Pickleball & Hockey in Estero
On Wednesday evening, March 2, 2016, Pickleball was a special feature at the Germaine Arena in Estero where the Florida Everblades were hosting the Toledo Walleyes to a game.
The PB event was held to promote pickleball and to raise awareness of the pickleballforall.org
A pickleball court was set-up in the Arena foyer and featured National Champion pickleball player Kyle Yates, Executive Director Jim Ludwig and several individuals being helped by the charity.
A contingent of pickleball players from around the area came to not only watch the game but to support pickleballforall.org, with $5 of each ticket bought going to the charity.
In the hockey game, Everblades came up short in a 2-3 loss.
